Episode One: Good Bones by Maggie Smith with Kate Caldwell
2/22/2024 | 24m
Join Amy and Kate for the very first official episode of the Finding Good Bones podcast - a discussion of the namesake of the podcast, the poem Good Bones by Maggie Smith (the poet, not the Dame). This episode covers the power of sparseness and repetition, the importance of breaking and reforming, and the glory of fake footnotes - in between lots of cackling.
This Episode's Guest
Kate Caldwell is a performer and writer in Austin, TX with a BA in Theatre and Dance from UT Austin. She's currently the host of a literary podcast, Finding Good Bones, that talks to people about the pieces of writing that help them find the light and sit with the darkness in the world. Kate hates bios but loves fried chicken and whiskey.
